It’s a Chilton Summer!

So here we are Summer 2025 and what exciting news we have to tell you!

My name is Will, I am a close friend of Ed’s and have recently purchased the business. I have a passion for outdoor pursuits and country sports and have been working with Ed to ensure a smooth transition (where possible!), and to keep the special signature recipes exactly the same. We have been busy behind the scenes bottling, labelling and booking into lots of fairs so that hopefully we can meet some of you soon at shows.

Chilton Liqueurs will keep our existing product range, award winning formula and all liqueurs will remain made by hand by us on our farm in South Shropshire. I have plans to extend the range in future adding new flavours but to always keep the Chilton brand at the heart.

This is very much a family run business with myself and my wife (Clarrie), producing orders and all business operations! Look out for our socials where we hope to post more about the business.

Moving on to Summer 2025, heatwaves are already in place and we have been enjoying watching Wimbledon with our Seville Orange Gin Liqueur as a long drink with Tonic Water, ice and a sprinkle of fresh Rosemary. Keep an eye on our socials for some summer ideas to try!

The recipe we use for our liqueurs has not changed over the years. The Damson and Orange Gin are both made by steeping the fruit in Greenall’s London Gin for six and four months respectively. The Raspberry Vodka is also made using the same method. Our liqueurs are made by hand, here on the farm. It may take longer and be more time consuming, but it does enable us to pay attention to every detail to ensure our Gins and Vodka continue to live up to the high standards that we require. These standards are recognised by The Great Taste Awards as all of our products have obtained 2 gold star awards.
